Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The global recognition of his music has helped him break into mainstream Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu, his hit from 2016, won the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Favorite Song. In Medellin the year of Medellin, the Sony label La Industria Inc. released ADN the debut album of his long-playing career. This album peaked at eight on the Top Latin Albums charts. In the following year, he joined Ozuna on their Top Five smash Vaina Loca. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel on Mala Influencia and then released her debut album Dopamina the next year. Later in 2021, he performed on a duet TINI on her streaming hit single Maldita Foto. The 2023 album of 2000 featuring the mega-hit La Bachata. Turizo is a musician who was born into a musical family. His parents and brothers were also musicians. In his interviews, he said his participation in music as compulsory. He was taught how to play guitar, saxophone the ukulele and piano when he was a young child. He initially wanted to be Veterinarian, however after his brother Julian was convinced to let him attend lessons in singing with a Cuban musician, he rearranged his career plans.
