Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish flamenco and pop vocalist. She has been a part of the fringes of traditional and popular music since her teenage years, she is also involved in other styles like the hip hop soul genre and trap. Pepe Habichuela, a flamenco guitar player with a lot of talent, describes her voice as one that was sweet and had an old-fashioned bit. El Mal Querer is her 2nd album, which was released in 2018, which was critically and commercially successful. Following Los Angeles, her debut album, released in 2017, got an Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and also an Latin Grammy nod. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd, was released in 2021. Motomami was a collaboration with many artists including Cory Henry, James Blake and many others. The release date was the 20th of March, 2022 after the show by Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish singer who performed on her own in the show. The Rosalia of Motomami, who took home the Latin Album of the Year as well as three Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami and was the first woman to do so.
